The recent Lord Mayor’s Gala Concert at the Brisbane City Hall included a range of popular favorites including Colin Harper’s Queensland Pops Orchestra, Jason Barry-Smith and many others performers. Lighting was provided by Owen Forsyth of CPC Lighting and Audio. Though mainly a static lighting rig projecting colours and gobos over the stage, the Futurelight SC780 fixtures were the perfect lightsource for the event, and were actually put to good use during the performance. CPC also utilised the Futurelight fixtures for well-known John Paul College’s “Stars In The Park” event, which was held at Brisbane’s River Stage and at additional college events at the Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre.

CPC’s Compulite Spark Top has been used on most of their productions and, in Owen’s own words, “ has performed faultlessly. As a operator I am very impressed with the reliability of this desk compared to others in market.”
